Our fingerlime journey…

Early days

Finding plants in the early days wasn’t easy. This coupled with the lack of information that was publicly available around the care and growing of fingerlimes added another barrier to getting things up and running. There were some growers on the north coast of NSW, but they were very guarded about sharing information. So, it was really a case of trial and error and after a few years of nurturing a dozen or so plants and preparing the paddocks for a mass plantation (our clay base soils are not particularly plant friendly!), we were ready to go.
